Austrian Tenor Stefan Berghammer is a very versatile singer, at home in both solo and ensemble singing at the highest level. He is a permanent member of the renowned Netherlands Chamber Choir and of the internationally famous Huelgas Ensemble (Paul van Nevel), specialists in Renaissance music (more). His busy concert schedule (News) has brought him to most countries of Europe, the United States, Thailand, Singapore and Israel. Stefan’s opera and concert repertoire spans all genres of music, from Renaissance and Baroque to Contemporary.   

He holds a Master of Music Degree in Singing Teaching from the University Mozarteum in Salzburg and a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the Royal Academy of Music in London and he belongs to a group of singing teachers who have been instructed by Maestro David Jones in the Swedish/Italian Singing Method, and continues to expand his knowledge of this long-established school of singing by taking regular lessons with Maestro David Jones

Stefan Berghammer lives in Almere (a city about 20 kilometers from Amsterdam, Netherlands) and teaches the Swedish/Italian School of Singing, alongside his activities as concert and ensemblesinger.
