Austrian Tenor Stefan Berghammer is a very versatile singer, at home in both solo and ensemble singing at the highest level. He is a permanent member of the renowned Netherlands Chamber Choir and of the internationally famous Huelgas Ensemble (Paul van Nevel), specialists in Renaissance music. 
 
With the Huelgas Ensemble Stefan won numerous prices in recent years as there are the "Edison Klassik price", the "Echoklassik Preis", La "Clef de Mois Resmusica", "Diapason D`or", "Choc de Classica", "Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik" and the "Diapason d`Or de l`Annče".      
 
He also intensively works together with Cappella Amsterdam, with the NDR Radio Choir Hamburg and the SWR Vokalensemble Stuttgart.
 
His busy concert schedule has brought him to the most important music festivals in Europe, the United States, Russia, China, Thailand, Singapore, Israel, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Stefan’s  concert repertoire spans all genres of music, from Renaissance and Baroque to Contemporary.   
 
He holds a Master of Music Degree in secondary school music teaching and degrees of vocal and piano pedagogics from the University Mozarteum in Salzburg and a Degree in Vocal Performance from the Royal Academy of Music in London.
